Tinder, the hottest new smart phone
'dating' app, has taken off in recent months- a simple profile based on pictures
of yourself with a swipe left for 'nope' and right for 'like'.
Wiki describes it as a matchmaking app used for dating as
well as 'other kinds of networking'. What those other kinds of networking are exactly, I'll leave to your imagination...
It's been accused of facilitating 'hookups' because it provides users with a ‘hot or not’ model. Critics claim people who meet through Tinder are not as interested in
substantial relationships but rather meetings that “take on the sexual tone very
quickly.”
Is this the future for
love and relationships?
Have the smart phone
generation killed courtship and romance?
